Geoffrey Donne has served as Director of Photography on over 20 network series, including the Emmy Award winning season of The Amazing Race for NBC. Experienced, professional, and creative — Geoffrey has worked in many formats during two decades in the industry, ranging from dramatic features, television specials, reality programming and documentaries, to music and corporate videos. His projects are noted for dynamic lighting, versatile hand-held camera work, and an emphasis on shooting for the cut. He combines a dynamic, energetic style with a focus on polished production values.

Both team player and team leader, he is comfortable operating as a solo director/cameraman or as part of a full crew. He maintains an extensive portable broadcast package with complete support gear.

In addition to his work as both an award-winning Director of Photography and a Director, he has served as a “body and fender” writer on numerous ventures, frequently called in to rewrite material and provide dialogue polish on screenplays and show proposals prior to pitching production. He has been hired as a pitch consultant and to present the work of other Producers to network. He is well versed in writing show proposals; show bibles, budgets, treatments, and completed scripts. His most recent feature length screenplay, Waking Up Dead is currently making the studio rounds.

Geoffrey has produced, written, and directed a wide range of independent projects from science fiction actioneers to large-scale period films, as well as music videos, documentaries, hard-hitting political thrillers and corporate and commercial content, both for broadcast as well as streaming content. His projects have garnered awards at multiple major film festivals, including several wins at the Worldfest International Film Festival, and the coveted Cine-Golden Eagle Award. He served as Executive Producer, writer and show creator partnered with Nick Nolte and his company, Kingsgate Films, on the television documentary series On Killing. He served as Executive Producer and Show Creator on Sword and the Stone, a new one-hour reality series currently being represented by the Paradigm Talent and Literary Agency.

So basically, the other day we had a show. And as you can see, it wasn’t very fun. Things were unprofessional and sloppy; which we’ve dealt with too many times before.
